This notice covers darkstudio.in, its project-enquiry form, TARS and Dark Studio’s website analytics. Production contracts and project-specific confidentiality terms are handled separately.
1. Information you choose to provide
When you send a project enquiry, you may provide your name, company, email, phone number, city, preferred contact method, project scope, budget range, timeline, references and any other information included in your brief.
When you use TARS, the conversation, answers, project brief and contact details are processed so the studio can respond. Public brand research is performed only when the interface asks for and receives your permission.
2. Website measurement
If you allow analytics, Dark Studio records a random browser-tab session identifier, pages viewed, visit source, campaign tags, device and browser category, approximate country/region/city, engagement time and enquiry events. Raw IP addresses and full device fingerprints are not stored in Dark Studio’s first-party analytics database.
Google Analytics is also loaded only after you allow analytics. If you choose essential only, optional website measurement remains off.
3. Why the information is used
- To respond to enquiries and shape an appropriate production approach.
- To transfer confirmed briefs into Dark Studio’s CRM and manage follow-up.
- To operate TARS, maintain conversation continuity and prevent abuse.
- To understand which pages and campaigns generate relevant business enquiries.
- To protect the website, diagnose failures and meet lawful obligations.
4. Systems involved
Website data may be processed by infrastructure and service providers used to operate Dark Studio’s website, including website hosting, Zoho CRM, Google Analytics and OpenAI-powered TARS functions. Information is shared only for the operational purpose involved; Dark Studio does not sell visitor or enquiry data.
5. Retention
Unsubmitted TARS conversations expire automatically after seven days. Dark Studio’s first-party website analytics is automatically removed after 400 days. Submitted enquiries and project records may be retained for follow-up, project administration, accounting, dispute prevention and other lawful business requirements, and deleted or anonymised when no longer reasonably needed.
6. Your choices and requests
You can change optional analytics at any time using the button above. You may also ask what personal information Dark Studio holds about you, request a correction, withdraw consent where applicable or request deletion subject to lawful retention requirements.
Send privacy questions or requests to darkstudio.inc@gmail.com. Please include enough information for the studio to identify the relevant enquiry without sending unnecessary sensitive information.
7. Security and updates
Dark Studio uses access controls, server-side credentials, rate limits and restricted editing tools to reduce unauthorised access. No internet system is risk-free. This notice will be updated when the website’s data practices or applicable requirements materially change.
