The story
Dark Studio was founded in 2013 through founder and cinematographer Vikramjit Singh’s obsession with light, composition and the emotional power of a moving image.
In 2016, Vikramjit began taking projects under the Dark Studio name in Bengaluru. That chapter grew into a production partner for developers, design studios, corporate teams, industrial businesses and ambitious brands across India.
Today, our team brings strategy, creative direction, cinematography, photography, drone, editing, sound, motion and AI-assisted production into one connected workflow.
The tools have evolved. The standard has not: the work must feel considered, cinematic and useful to the business behind it.

Vikramjit Singh established Dark Studio’s visual approach as a cinematographer and producer. Today, the team carries that standard forward; their ideas, craft and ownership drive every project.
The core team
Dark Studio has grown through the ideas, craft and ownership of its core team. Together, we keep strategy, direction and delivery connected; trusted specialists add the capabilities each production needs.
Vikram brings a cinematographer’s eye and a strategist’s mindset to every brief. He shapes the creative direction and stays close to the craft, while looking after the team like family and giving everyone room to do their best work.
Prajwal brings a specialist eye for vehicles, light and location to every campaign. He heads photography at Dark Studio.
From the first pitch to the final frame, Arpit connects client priorities, budgets and on-set production. He combines business development with hands-on assistant direction to keep communication clear and creative delivery on track.
Vishnu listens closely to each client’s requirements and translates the brief into thoughtful editorial choices, delivering finished work that exceeds expectations.
Colour, cleanup, retouching and final polish across photography—protecting detail while keeping every image natural and on-brand.
